PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of a magnetic angle sensor for detecting a rotation angle over 360 degrees. SOLUTION: A pair of partly cylindrical magnets 9 is arranged in symmetry of rotation with a magnetic detecting element 6 interposed between, and a yoke 8 surrounds the magnetic detecting element 6 in contact with outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of the cylindrical magnets 9. The pair of the cylindrical magnets 9 rotates around an axial center m with a concurrent axial displacement along with a rotation of a rotating body 1. The pair of the cylindrical magnets 9 is arranged in inclined manner with respect to the axial center m. The number of times of rotation can be determined by the size of a magnetic field detected by the detecting element 6, due to the rotation and the displacement in the axial direction with respect to the detecting element 6 of the pair of the cylindrical magnets 9.
