#CMT# #/CMT# The sheath (4) has a shield (5) i.e. radially inflatable balloon disk, arranged at a distal end region (9), and extended transverse to the sheath. The shield with an inner edge (6) is sealably attached around the sheath, and comprises an outer edge, which rotates the sheath at a distance. The shield is changed from very large distance to very small distance of the outer edge of the shield to the sheath. The shield is removable from the sheath, and is provided with substances, which damage tumor cells and are active on a surface of the sheath. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Laparoscopic trocar sheath for a surgical operation in a human intraabdominal space, and for operation on tumors. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The shield covers a part, which is contaminated with tumor cells, of the sheath, so that contacting of the branch canal with the contaminated regions of the sheath, thus providing reduced tumor recurrence rate at an area of the trocar penetration mark.
