<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input circuit of a semiconductor storage device, which reduces power consumption, and a method of controlling the input circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The input circuit of the semiconductor storage device includes: a plurality of latches configured to selectively latch and output a plurality of external signals; and a latch control unit configured to control operations of the plurality of latches, depending on the operation mode of the semiconductor storage device. The input circuit further includes a plurality of latches configured to selectively latch a plurality of external signals and output a latched signal or signals, depending on a control signal; and a latch control unit configured to determine the operation mode of the semiconductor storage device using the latched signal and generate the control signal, depending on the determined operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
