PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability when a light source environment is not changed and followability when the light source environment is changed by reducing the influence of a noise component, in automatic white balance control of an imaging device. SOLUTION: This image processing device processing an image signal of an image obtained by taking the image includes: a WB detection part (107) extracting image signals existing in a white detection range for each of a plurality of WB detection frames (401) to integrate the extracted image signals, and outputting white-color data integrated on a WB detection frame basis; an image characteristic amount detection part (108) detecting the amount of the characteristic of the image in a region corresponding to the WB detection frame; a camera microcomputer (111) calculating white-color data of the image by setting weight values of the respective WB detection frames and calculating the weighted average of the white-color data of the respective WB detection frames; and a signal processing part (112) compensating white balance based on the calculated white-color data of the image.
