<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently record continuous programs broadcast in the same channel. <P>SOLUTION: When the programs recorded by a recording device (content recorder) are broadcast in continuous time zones in the same channel, the two programs are not separately recorded, but recorded as one content by a single recording processing. For example, when recording of a program is started based on certain timer recording setting (a step S801), the recording is continued until the end of the program (a step S802).
