<p>The method involves impacting the shell of the treenut with a component i.e. hand tool (1), having an impact zone (4) with the treenut set back of a frontal zone (5) that is in abutment on a support surface after the break of the shell of the treenut. The impact zone is defined by a percussion part (3) of the hand tool, and is surrounded by the frontal zone. The front zone is defined by an annular lip that completely surrounds the impact zone or a lip that partially surrounds the impact zone, where the impact zone can be spherical, conical or plane. The depth of the impact zone measured relative to the frontal zone is between 6 and 60 millimeters. The large transversal dimension of the impact zone is between 30 and 120 millimeters. An independent claim is also included for a hand tool for breaking the shell of treenut.</p> |
