TRANSMITTING METHOD OF MIMO SYSTEM USING LDPC CODE

A transmission method using an LDPC(Low Density Parity Check Codes) coder in a multi-antenna system is provided to reduce complexity of a decoding process of a receiver without degrading an error correcting capability by obtaining the same performance as the error correcting capability of a desired decoding rate in the receiver. Inputted data is encoded into an LDPC coding mode including a puncture bit. An encoded LDPC codeword is demultiplexed to a plurality of parallel channels. Each demultiplexed channel is modulated in a V(Vertical)-BLAST(Bell Laboratory Layered Space-Time) mode. A parity bit of the LDPC codeword is separated from the codeword of the LDPC codeword, and is assigned and modulated in a predetermined channel. Modulated signals of each channel are transmitted.
