The present invention provides a shaving device (10) that includes a razor cartridge (12) and a handle (14). The razor cartridge includes one or more razor blades (16) and a liquid material storage element (20) disposed within a reservoir (18). A dispensing medium (24) extends between the liquid material storage element and an outer surface of the razor cartridge. During the act of shaving, the dispensing medium operates to draw the liquid from the reservoir to a user contact end of the dispensing medium, where the liquid is then applied to the area being shaved adjacent to the cutting edge(s).
