IMPACT STRENGTH MODIFIERS FOR THERMOPLASTIC POLYESTER AND THERMOPLASTIC POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

An impact modifier for a thermoplastic polyester resin, and a thermoplastic polyester resin composition containing the impact modifier are provided to improve transparency and the impact strength. An impact modifier for a thermoplastic polyester resin is obtained by the graft polymerization of a 20 ~ 80 weight% of the rubber latex of a multi-layered structure which has a ratio (Pb/Pa) of a particle diameter (Pa) of an inner layer and a particle diameter (Pb) of an outer layer of 1.05 ~ 1.5, and a glass transition temperature of an inner layer or an outer layer of -30 °C or less; and 20 ~ 80 weight% of a vinyl monomer.
