A cover for an LCD is provided to add the discernment to the cover by introducing inorganic particles having the intrinsic spectrum or color pattern according to a predetermined rule. A cover for an LCD includes inorganic particles having the intrinsic spectrum or color pattern or an aggregate of them according to a predetermined rule. The origin or kind of the LCD having the cover is confirmed based on the spectrum, color pattern or aggregate of them. The inorganic particles are selected from a group of inorganic particles, which have the intrinsic spectrum or color pattern in the visible ray region and invisible ray region or in a specific chemical state.
