The damper comprises a base, a case fitted on a base by an axis with provision for rotation, first and second rods with rubber washers, movable contact, fitted on the base with provision for rotation, device for restraining rotation of the case, immovably attached to the base and a spring, fitted between the base and the case. The distance from the first rod to the axis is shorter than the distance from the axis to the second rod. ^ EFFECT: reduced recoil of the movable contact when the circuit breaker switches off thus shortening arc duration on the contacts. ^ 4 dwg |
