FIELD: food industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for application in the field of feed production for pets. Method provides for production of form-stable fodder with low content of carbons. Feed composition with content of carbons in nitrogen-free extract less than around 19 wt % of dry weight, heated up to 70-100C, is transported through extruder. At that high shift force is created in extruder head. Temperature of feed composition inside extruder is maintained within the range of 74-116C.
