A method for offering an electronic estimate and an apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to prepare an estimate in real time by using a user terminal. An item database(272) stores item information about goods of a seller by associating it with member information. An estimate generator(250) receives basic information required for generating an estimate from a user terminal of the seller. According to the basic information, the estimate generator reads the item information and then generates the estimate by reading customer information within a customer database. According to the delivery method which is selected by the seller, an estimate sending unit(220,230) transmits the estimate to a facsimile or e-mail of the customer. |
