摘要 A non-contact connector is provided to secure communication continuity by performing the bidirectional communication at a rotating side and a fixing side. On a rotational shaft, a reflector reflects the light emitted from a rotating-side optical element or a fixing-side optical element. The reflector comprises a rectangular parallelopiped cubic mirror. Among two transparent rectangular parallelopiped materials for the near infraredray wavelength area in visible ray wavelength, a thin metal film is deposited on one side of one of the materials. The cubic mirror is bonded with the other of the materials in relation to the deposited film surface. -> A rotating body(1) comprises a rotation-side electrical circuit portion, a rotation-side holding portion, a rotation-side optical element(13), a rotation-side transformer windings, a rotation-side transformer core, and a reflecting body(7). The rotation-side electrical circuit portion is provided in the upper portion of the rotating body, and performs various data processing. The rotation-side holding portion is positioned in the lower portion of the rotation-side electrical circuit portion, and holds the rotation-side electrical circuit portion. The rotation-side optical element is positioned on a disc face of the rotating body perpendicular to the rotation axis. The rotation-side optical element emits light based on electrical signals from the rotation-side electrical circuit portion, and transmits data to the fixed-side optical element without contact via the reflecting body. Also, the rotation-side optical element receives data from the fixed-side optical element via the reflecting body, and outputs the data to the rotation-side electrical circuit portion. The rotation-side transformer windings are in the lower portion of the rotation-side holding portion, positioned in an outer peripheral concavity of the rotating body. Power is supplied from the fixed body through electromagnetic induction action, and power can be supplied to each of the portions of the rotating body from these rotation-side transformer windings. The rotation-side transformer core is formed with a U-shaped cross-section so as to surround the rotation-side transformer windings. The rotation-side transformer core houses the rotation-side transformer windings in a concavity thereof, and together with the fixed body forms a rotary transformer. The above-described rotation-side holding portion is a portion of this rotation-side transformer core. The reflecting body is positioned on the rotation axis of the rotating body, and is configured to enable rotation about the rotation axis. The reflecting body reflects light emitted from each of the optical elements.
