<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-sensitive resin composition suitable for forming a coating film having a uniform film thickness and no unevenness by a slit die coater method, and to provide a spacer or a protective film formed from the composition, and a liquid crystal display element provided with those. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation-sensitive resin composition comprises a copolymer of at least one selected from the group consisting of unsaturated carboxylic acids and unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydrides and another unsaturated compound different from the above at least one, a polymerizable unsaturated compound, a radiation-sensitive polymerization initiator, and a solvent represented by formula (1), wherein R<SB>1</SB>is a 1-9C alkyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
