The invention relates to a composition containing 1 to 99 percent by weight of poorly water-soluble calcium salts and/or the composite materials thereof, the percentage being in relation to the amount of the composition. Also disclosed are kits and systems containing said compositions as well as the use and methods for utilizing said compositions, systems, and kits. The inventive compositions are particularly suitable for promoting the restoration of bones and tooth material, especially enamel and dentin.
