PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a screw for securing a hook to be hardly loosened and also prevent the screw from being falling even if the screw is loosened in a hand power tool. SOLUTION: This power tool comprises a body 10 having a motor, a drive mechanism, a control part, and a housing 17 in which the motor, the drive mechanism, and the control part are housed, a battery pack 20 incorporating a secondary battery and detachable from the body, and a hook 30 attached to the body 10. The battery pack 20 is mounted on the bottom part (battery pack mounting part) of the housing 17. A screw 41 and a nut 40 for securing the hook 30 are fitted to the bottom part 15 of the housing 17. The hook 30 comprises a secured part 31 having a screw groove 31a through which the screw 41 extends and secured to the bottom part of the housing 17 with the screw 41 and the nut 40 and a hooking part 32 projecting to the outside of the housing 17 and positioned non-parallel at least to the fixed part 31 (for example, in U-shape).
