A fuel cell is provided to prevent the leakage of fuel and to increase the performance of stack by uniformly applying surface pressure to the whole surface. A fuel cell comprises a plurality of unit cells(11,12) generating electrical energy through electrochemical reaction of oxygen and hydrogen by arranging an electrolyte membrane, and a fuel electrode and an air electrode on both surfaces of the electrolyte membrane and also arranging a plurality of separator formed with a fuel channel and air channel to the fuel electrode and air electrode respectively; a fixation member(31,32) which laminates a plurality of unit cells and fixes a plurality of unit cells; and a surface pressure compensation part(40) compensating for the surface pressure between the unit cells. |
