PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer having improved cooling efficiency in a reagent held by a reagent vessel stored in a reagent cold insulation storage box. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzer allows a reagent vessel tray for holding the reagent vessel to be arranged, has the reagent cold insulation storage box where a circulation space of a cooling medium is formed in a wall, and cools the reagent vessel held in the reagent cold insulation storage box 13 by the cooling medium Ct flowing in the circulation space in the wall. The automatic analyzer has a heat-conducting water feeder 19 that force-feeds heat-conducting water W to the reagent cold insulation storage box and has a pump 19b and supply piping 19f for filling an area between the reagent cold insulation storage box and the bottom surface of the reagent vessel tray with the heat-conducting water, and cools the reagent vessel tray and the reagent vessel by the heat-conducting water cooled by the cooling medium.
