PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-ribbed belt which is used for an automobile accessory driving belt transmission device having a great rotation fluctuation, in which less stick slip abnormal sounds occur after long-period travel of an automobile even when loaded tension is reduced, which can be molded in only one process without polishing a rib part, and which has less reduced tension. SOLUTION: The V-ribbed belt 1 having a pitch peripheral length of 1,000-1,999 mm comprises an elongation part 2, a cushion rubber layer having a core wire 3 embedded along a belt longitudinal direction, and a compression part 6 having a plurality of non-polished ribs 7 located adjacent to the cushion rubber layer and extending in a belt peripheral direction. The core wire 3 of the belt is formed of polyethylene naphthalate, and has an elongation of 2-4% under 200 N, an elongation of 4-6% under 300 N, and a compression stress of 15-25 N.
