COMMUNICATION FAILURE SEPARATING METHOD, RECEIVING TERMINAL AND NETWORK DEVICE INCLUDING COMMUNICATION FAILURE SEPARATING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate at least whether data delay that causes quality deterioration occurs outside or inside a home, in real-time distribution of video-audio contents utilizing the Internet.

SOLUTION: In a real-time video distribution system utilizing the Internet, a receiving terminal inquires a reception data amount of video-audio contents received by a home router that is an inside/outside separating point, to the home router. The data amount obtained by inquiring the home router is compared with the amount of data received by the receiving terminal itself, and a position where data delay occurs is separated.
