<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack device advantageous to reduce or eliminate fastening bolts used for assembly of a first end plate, a second end plate, and a tension plate. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack device is equipped with a stack 2; the first end plate 3 having a first engaging part 34; the second end plate 4 having a second engaging part 44; a biasing member 5 biasing each cell of the stack 2 in the close contact direction; and the tension plate 6.
