PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test paper conveyance mechanism positioning accurately a test paper in a longitudinal direction and in a width direction, and a chemical analyzer equipped with the conveyance mechanism. SOLUTION: This test paper conveyance mechanism is equipped with two slide screws 300 provided extendedly in an arrow DR1 direction, each having a circular sectional shape, and including respectively an outer peripheral surface 310 and a recessed part 320 formed spirally on the outer peripheral surface 310 and receiving a test paper 2; a slide screw driving part 400 for rotating each slide screw 300; and a guide part 220 for specifying a position in the longitudinal direction (arrow DR2 direction) of the test paper 2 by allowing abutment on the test paper 2 conveyed in the arrow DR1 direction by rotation of each slide screw 300.
