<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting device capable of being bent along one direction while optical sheets or the like are arranged on the surface of a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: LEDs 6 arranged at one side end surface 4 of a light guide plate 2 made of a material having flexibility are fixed to the light guide plate 2 through a FPC 20. Optical sheets arranged at an upper surface side of the light guide plate 2, such as a diffusion plate 8, two sheets of prism sheet 10 and 12, or the like, are fixed by adhering a frame-like shading sheet 14 to the light guide plate 2. A reflecting sheet 16 arranged at a lower surface side of the light guide plate 2 has a bellow structure, and recess portions 16a extending along a longitudinal direction of a light-incoming face 4 of the light guide plate 2 provided with the LEDs 6 are repeatedly formed perpendicularly to the light-incoming face 4. Further, the reflecting sheet 16 is fixed to a lower surface of the light guide plate 2 through double-stick tapes 18 prepared on upper flat portions 16b between adjoining recess portions 16a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
