PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray high-voltage device outputting a flash volume in accordance with a present filament-heating state. SOLUTION: The X-ray high-voltage device comprises a filament heating means of an X-ray tube, a filament heating current detecting means, and a control means controlling filament heating current. Until a photographing or fluoroscopy preparation operation takes place, filaments are pre-heated at a given condition, a flash temporarily flowing a larger current to the filaments than at the pre-heating time is started by the preparation operation, and, after finish of the flash, the filaments are properly heated at conditions necessary for photography or fluoroscopy. The device is provided with a calculating means for calculating a flash volume at the above flash time with the use of a heating volume for a certain period going back from a time point where the preparation operation is made, as well as a preset standard preheating volume and flash volume, and according to the calculation result, the filament heating current at the flash is controlled by the above control means.
