PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair tool for automatically cleaning an image reader by a specific cleaning sheet and the cleaning mode of a financial terminal. SOLUTION: This passbook-shaped cleaning repair tool is configured of a pasteboard 1; plate-shaped members 11 and 13 formed on the pasteboard 1 and made of cloth materials; a brush member 12; and a sheet member 14 for confirmation so as to be dealt with by a financial terminal 2. When a passbook is inserted from the passbook-insertion port of the financial terminal 2, the plate-shaped members 11 and 13, made of cloth materials and the brush members 12, pass while being brought into contact with a passbook part image reader 12 of the financial terminal 2 accompanying a passbook-conveying operation in the passbook-dealing mode of the financial terminal 2, and the glass face of the image reader 21 is cleaned. After it is cleaned, the sheet member 14 for confirmation stops at the reading position of the image reader 21, and whether the glass face of the image reader is dirty is decided, based on the analytic result of the image of the sheet 14 for confirmation to be acquired by the reading operation of the image of the passbook by the CCD of the financial terminal 2.
