PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel supporting device capable of aligning a hub wheel and a constant velocity joint on the same central line and meshing both side face splines mutually and easily. SOLUTION: Both side face splines 18, 62 connecting a hub shaft 13 of the hub wheel 10 with an outer ring 60 of the constant velocity joint 50 to transmit torque are formed on an end face of the hub shaft 13 of the hub wheel 10 and an end face of the outer ring 60 of the constant velocity joint 50, respectively. A connection bolt 70 protruding from the end face of the outer ring 60 of the constant velocity joint 50 is inserted into an inner hole 14 in the hub shaft 13, and a tightening nut 75 is tightened on a male screw part 73 in a tip part of a shaft part 72 of the connection bolt 70 to connect the hub shaft 13 of the hub wheel 10 with the outer ring 60 of the constant velocity joint 50. A small diameter hole part 14c which has smaller diameter than diameter of the other parts of the inner hole 14 and in which the shaft part 72 of the connection bolt 70 is fitted and inserted with a slight clearance is formed in a part of the inner hole 14 of the hub shaft 13.
