<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desired function by combining modules in information equipment and option equipment. <P>SOLUTION: From same modules stored in a module storage section 112 and a module storage section 212, an authenticated printing management module 130 selects a module with high level information. For example, an ID authentication module 132 is stored in both the module storage section 112 of an MFP 10 and the module storage section 212 of an NW card 11. The authenticated printing management module 130 selects the ID authentication module of the NW card 11, in accordance with level information showing selection priority in an ID authentication module. Even if modules necessary for executing authenticated printing functions are included in both the MFP 10 and the NW card 11, any modules in the MFP 10 or the NW card 11 can be selected appropriately for use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
