An oxacarbazepine film-coated tablet is provided to raise the bioavailability of oxacarbazepine and to increase compliance. An oxacarbazepine film-coated tablet comprises a purified core and an external coating layer. The purified core comprises oxacarbazepine of micro powder form and additional excipient. The oxacarbazepine has the maximum residue rate of 5% or less and the average particle size of 2-12 mum. The external coating layer is hydrophilic and transparent.
