PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively easily form a connection section between both ends of a trough according to the length of an unlaid trough if the length of the unlaid trough is shorter than that of the trough during trough laying. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin-made troughs are connected and laid having a female connection section 2 composed of a recess 21 of slightly longer depth and wider internal width than those of other portions and locking pieces 20 protrudently formed inwardly of both end internal surfaces excluding the internal bottom surface of the recess on one end side in the longitudinal direction, having a male connection section 3 where locking protrusions 30 corresponding to the respective locking pieces 20 are formed on ends of both external sides on the other end side in the trough longitudinal direction and are guided to the female connection section 2 in a drop-in manner, having leg-like sections 4 along on both bottom side sections in the longitudinal direction, having vertical ribs 5 at predetermined intervals at the same positions on both external side surfaces in the longitudinal direction, and having dimensions where both side sections excluding the respective leg-like sections 4 in the cut portions may be engaged with each of the locking pieces 20 in the female connection section 2 when cut in the state where it intersects in the longitudinal direction at the positions including the vertical ribs 5.
