PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-driving washing-coating method and a self-driving washing-coating apparatus for carrying out high-quality coating while eliminating dangerous and manual work by causing no bad effects on environments. SOLUTION: The self-driving washing-coating method and the self-driving washing-coating apparatus carry out steps of determining a movable range of a vehicle 7 from the data of a sensor 1 detecting the position; carrying out cleaning from the data of a sensor 2 detecting the cleaning state in the movable range of the vehicle 7; carrying out the cleaning out of the movable range of the vehicle 7 by adjusting the position and angle of a cleaning gun 3; carrying out cleaning without scattering washing water; determining movable range of a vehicle 7 from the data of a sensor 1 detecting the position; carrying out coating from the data of a sensor 2 detecting the coating surface state in the movable range of the vehicle 7; carrying out the coating out of the movable range of the vehicle 7 by adjusting the position and angle of coating gun 3; and thus carrying out coating without scattering a coating material.
