<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece which is used for bearing rolling load and is made of steel having a high wear resistance, a high hardness, a high viscosity and a high dimensional stability. <P>SOLUTION: The workpiece 1 is used for bearing rolling load and has the core zone 2 and a carbonitrided edge zone 3 that surrounds the core zone 2. The workpiece 1 is made of the steel whose core zone can be hardened. The core zone 2 has a bainite structure as an essential component.
