摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device, capable of preventing specular reflection of returned light in a peripheral circuit region and emission of the returned light from an element substrate side, when the returned light is made incident on the element substrate, to provide a manufacturing method of the electrooptical device, and to provide a projection-type display device. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrooptical device 100, a roughened region 10t is formed in a region superimposed on a peripheral circuit region 10d of a light transmissible substrate 10s used for the element substrate 10 and the roughened region 10t has a structure, wherein a dot-shaped deposit 11 is formed on a bottom part of a concave part 10v formed on the light transmissible substrate 10s. Thus, even when the returned light of modulated light is made incident toward the peripheral circuit region 10d of the element substrate 10, the returned light is scattered at the roughened region 10t.
