PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction heating cooker which solves the problem that fine convection generated by a plurality of concaves and convexes on the outer bottom surface of a vessel is mutually cancelled next to each other, no large convection is produced, and uneven heating is caused in the lower and upper layer parts of rice and uneven cooking is left in a conventional electromagnetic induction heating cooker. SOLUTION: In an electromagnetic induction heating cooker equipped with a body 1, a pot-shaped vessel 5 which is housed detachably in the body 1 and heats and cooks food, and a heating coil 3 which is housed below the body 1, induces eddy current in the pot-shaped vessel 5 and heats the pot-shaped vessel 5, the pot-shaped vessel 5 is characterized in that a sintered body of 95%-100% carbon is a base material and a groove part is formed in a position opposite to the heating coil at the external base of the pot-shaped vessel.
