<p>The casing (1) has a cylindrical installation space (4) for a gas-lubricated slide ring seal, which is operable with suction-side process gas i.e. seal gas. Upper and lower duct systems (5, 8), inlets (6, 9), outlets (7, 10), upper cooling chambers (11, 12) and lower cooling chambers (13, 14) are together formed as a cooling device for cooling the space, so that heat loss of the seal is dissipated during an operation of a process gas turbo compressor. The casing is implemented in a sealing region in an undivided manner. A control unit controls cooling of the space.</p> |
