<p>The method involves forming a thimble (12) from a mechanically resistant material. A flexible tubular envelope that is made of material resistant to heat, cold and hydrocarbons, is introduced into the thimble. The envelope is folded with respect to its longitudinal axis, where length (L) of the envelope is higher than length (l) of the thimble. The envelope is allowed to resume its original tubular shape, where inner diameter of the thimble and outer diameter of the envelope are identical such that an outer surface of the envelope contacts an inner surface of the thimble. An independent claim is also included for a connection sleeve comprising a flexible tubular envelope.</p> |
