A method for killing puffer fish is provided, which reduces the stress to the minimum while killing the puffer fish and improves property of the puffer fish. A method for killing puffer fish comprises: cutting the mouth of the puffer fish; cutting the upper head part of the puffer fish from the central site of the buttock to the lower part of the nostrils in 1.5cm depth by a knife in the longitudinal direction; exposing the brain nerves existing within the head of the puffer fish outside in order to cut by opening the cut site to the left and right; and cutting the brain nerves by using the sharp knife. |
