The combined harvester (1) is equipped with a cutting device (4) attached to the inclined conveyor (3) joined to hydraulic lifting cylinders (15) with the opposite end. The rotation angle and the distance of the cutting unit (4) to the surface are continuously checked by sensor elements (18,19). An additional sensor (25) is accommodated underneath a front return pulley (27) transmitting a signal (F) when a foreign object such as a stone is detected. An adjusting signal (G) is transmitted from the control and evaluation unit (35) to the lifting cylinders (15) if required by the situation. An independent claim is given for an arrangement for the control of the lifting attachment. |
