The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, more particularly to a method for treatment of steel wire. The method for treatment of steel wire comprises the heating of steel wire to temperature of austenitizing on 150-200 °С above Ас, its soaking at this temperature, cooling for commitment of transformation in it austenite, thermostating for ending of austenite transformation and subsequent cooling of steel wire on quiet air, cooling for austenite transformation is carried out with rate of 30-80 °С/s with providing of austenite transformation to 600-630 °С in lead or saline smelt, or in air-gas medium, andthermostating for completing of transformation austenite is carried out during period not less than 10 seconds. The invention provides the improvement of deformity of steel wire, optimization of its cooling mode and obtaining of sorbite structure in it. |
