FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in systems of self-acting measuring, guidance and emergency protection into which composition the data units developing two-polar signals, in particular, induction data units of a rotation frequency and the rate of flux. In the method volt-second of the area of two half-waves of each two-polar signal of the rotation frequency induction data unit is measured and compared, and at first measure area S1k of the first half-wave and threshold value Sth1=QS1K is developed where Q<1, then area S2 of the second half-wave is measured and in the course of measuring S2: 1) the gained quantities S2 are compared with Sth1 and at performance of requirement S2>Sth1 a demanded impulse is shaped or 2) additional parametre Sx=(1+Q)S2/2 is developed, comparing it with Sth1, S1k and at performance of requirement Sth1<SXK <S1k a demanded impulse is shaped. Version of the device realising the method contains the block (1) in which by integration measuring S1 is reached, in the block (2) value S1k is remembered and the threshold, inverted rectifier (4), block (6) of guidances is shaped. ^ EFFECT: increase of noise stability, accuracy and reliability of recurring by shaped impulses of duration of continuances of following of signals of induction data units of rotation frequency. ^ 2 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl
