PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce such a risk that the rear surface of a recording material is contaminated, in a recorder which is capable of enhancing the degree of freedom of the arrangement and interval of each projected line portion of the recording material supporting device and executing marginless recording. SOLUTION: The bottom end portion 731 of a right edge guide 73 pushes the top end of a rotation lever 21, to rotate the rotation lever 21 in a direction shown by a code B, when the right edge guide 73 is moved in a direction shown by a code A, in accordance with the right edge position of a recording paper P of postcard size or KG size. A shaft body 22 gear-engaged with the rotation lever 21 is rotated in a direction shown by a code C and a right movable rib 534 is displaced in a direction (direction shown by a code D) near the projected line portion 531 on the observers' immediate left.
