PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medium indication which is specialized by electronic program guide (EPG). SOLUTION: The EPG is extended so that it has entry which makes enable access to one or more images. When image-related entry is selected by a user, a device of television base indicates image relevant to the selected entry. Each portion of the EPG is indicated as a link. Search of file groups is performed by selection of link, and slide show for images brought by the search is indicated visually. A third party can transmit an image to a mail address relevant to a device of television base. In response to the transmitted image, image entry is added to channel lineup of the EPG.
