PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, capable of performing display while reducing a luminance inclination within a screen which is caused in accordance with polarity reversion of a common signal in frame reversing drive. SOLUTION: A voltage level in a gate-off voltage VGL applied to a pixel transistor through a scanning line is changed by a change quantity of voltage level in the common signal Vcom synchronously with polarity reversion of the common signal Vcom. According to this, the change quantity of a pixel electrode potential Vs' which is changed according to the voltage level in the common signal Vcom can be equalized to the voltage level change quantity in the common signal Vcom, and the luminance inclination within the screen caused by polarity reversion can be reduced.
