PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal shaft joint structure capable of simplifying the structure of its lock member, eliminating the risk of an incorrect operation or damage, and being easily attached and detached. SOLUTION: The pedal shaft joint structure allows a pedal shaft 22 to be releasably attached to a crank member 10 via a pedal shaft attaching member 30 in a single operation, wherein one plate-like lock member 50 with a lock hole 54 formed therein, which can be freely engaged with and disengaged from a lock peripheral groove 23 on the pedal shaft 22 inserted into the pedal shaft attaching member 30, is disposed in the pedal shaft attaching member in a freely slidable manner, thereby capable of offering a sufficient retaining function for the pedal shaft 22 even by the one lock member 50 owing to adoption of the plate-like lock member 50 of high strength.
