PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display that allows a user to more easily set an imaging condition or a playback condition in conformity to a user's use condition. SOLUTION: The information display device is provided with: an imaging part that performs imaging processing for imaging a subject and outputting an imaging signal; a monitor part capable of displaying an imaged image of the subject based on the imaging signal; a switching operation part located near the monitor part; a first display control means for displaying in a menu on the monitor part, each of items in a first group of items composed of a plurality of items associated with the imaging process, whereby first setting data can be set; and a second display control means for displaying in the menu on the monitor part, each of items in a second group of items associated with a plurality of particular items in the first group of items and having fewer items than that of the first group of items, whereby second setting data can be set, wherein switching between the first and second display control means is performed by operating the switching operation part.
