<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading processing apparatus, an image reading processing method and a program, by which a gap between sheets can be shortened in the case of continuously reading documents and reading performance can be improved without lacking an image when a sheet is skewed. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of documents are read out as one continuous image by an image reading part, hopper image data including at least the position information of respective documents detected by a position sensor and the continuous image data are read out, the continuous image data of the read hopper image data are separated on the basis of the position information, an edge of the image corresponding to the document is detected within the separated separation area, the image is cut out based on the edge, and page information is added to the cut image to create page image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
