PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing tape improved in slip-proofness and adaptability while maintaining excellent characteristics including uniform thickness seen in conventional ones. SOLUTION: The polishing tape is such that a microporous layer having open cells is formed on a substrate consisting of a sheet-like fabric, wherein it is preferable that the sheet-like fabric as the substrate, which is 0.05 mm or greater in thickness, has warps and wefts of polyester fiber being 45 dtex or greater in fineness, respectively.
