PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce defective display by providing a liquid crystal device capable of displaying both of a moving image and a static image in high quality and an electronic apparatus such as a projector comprising such a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: A conversion LUT 840 reads a corrected image signal VIDc stored in a frame memory 860 under the control of an unillustrated control part, thereafter, turns the image signal VIDc into a digital signal based on composite LUT and outputs the image signal VIDc as a sub field (SF) data to a data line driving circuit 101. The SF data output from the conversion LUT 840 to the data line driving circuit 101 is output to the data line driving circuit 101 as a code pattern that is a digital signal formed by coding the corrected image signal VIDc in accordance with SF code pattern 1 or 2.
