<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store text data included in job data as log information when a print order of the job data is sent from an information processing terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A printer driver 12 PD surely leaves base text data even when converting part of or the entire of base text data not suitable for a printer 10 into image data, and stores it into a log server 16. This enables character search later when a trouble occurs, and for example, and can act a great role to pursue a cause on the trouble. Also, because PDL is preserved in the log server 16, the preserved PDL can be reprinted from a management client PC 18 to the log server 16, enabling a more detailed trouble solution (cause investigation). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
