<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle with an electric power steering device attaining enhancement of durability, assembling property and maintenance property. <P>SOLUTION: The saddle-riding type vehicle with the electric power steering device is provided with a bar-handle 3 constituting a steering device of the vehicle at a front part of a vehicle body frame 2; a steering shaft 11 for transmitting turning operation of the bar-handle 3 to a pair of left and right front wheels; and the electric power steering device 43 for assisting steering of the bar-handle on the midway of the steering shaft 11. The electric power steering device 43 is constituted by an electric power steering body 47 provided with an electric motor 44, a gear unit 45, an input shaft 46A and an output shaft 46B; an upper steering shaft 48 having an upper end part mounted with the bar-handle 3 and a lower end part to which an upper end of the input shaft 46A is connected; and a support member 49 for supporting the upper steering shaft 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
